ID badge terminals serve as the time clock collecting your employees in and out time. The employees are assigned a badge card ,very similar to the size of a credit card ,and swipe it across the clock. The ID badge clock will record the employee punch time immediately. The clock holds the information in non-volatile memory which ensures that employees in/out times are safely stored even when the terminal is off. The TA715 functions as a simple to use data collection point for employee information. It can be linked to a variety of existing computer networks in your organization to complement the management information systems you already have in place. By automating your data collection process, you can eliminate the manpower and mistakes associated with conventional time cards thereby reducing both payroll costs and errors.
The TA715 guarantees accurate, reliable input. Employees simply enter information through the TA715’s keypad, by swiping a magnetic stripe, bar code, or proximity (Synel format) badge. Employee feedback is provided through audible accept/reject tones and displayed messages.
Communication between the TA715 and your computer is accomplished by one of Time America’s polling and programming utilities or integrated time and attendance systems. The TA715 automatically transfers data to your computer. In turn, the computer is used to program the TA715. Each of the TA715’s 8 function keys can be programmed to ask up to four levels of information for department/job transfer. Each piece of information can be validated and stored in the terminal’s memory until requested by the host computer. The TA715 can be programmed to prompt employees for data input, display employee messages, validate job costing entries, restrict employee punching via a schedule, regulate employee access to restricted areas, control a bell and much more. The TA715 collects this data and transfers it to your computer via RS232 serial, RS485 LAN, internal dial-up modem or Ethernet communications. The TA715 is California meal law compliant. By using the clock's function keys to punch, employees are restricted to take their full meal. If an employee punches before their meal break the clock rejects the punch and notifies the employee the time and duration until the employee can punch.

The Bell Control module allows you to define bell ringing schedules and prompt terminals to activate a user supplied bell, alarm, or other audible signaling device. Each bell can be defined by the day-of-week and time-of-day as well as the duration of the ring. Please note, the Bell Control module requires the purchase of a signal relay device for the clock which is not included with the purchase of the module.
The PC Clock module allows employees to perform all normal time clock functions at their PC. The PC Clock module can be installed in multiple PC's
